The Richmond Plaza Project aimed to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the Richmond Plaza, providing an improved outdoor space for the KPU community.
The complete scope of work included the removal of the existing plaza assembly and the installation of a new plaza 2-ply SBS waterproofing assembly, leak detection system, new concrete pavers, concrete panels, replacement of existing plaza drains with, removal and replacement of four existing post lights, demolition and subsequent rebuilding of several planter walls, installation of new glazing, guardrails, sodding, vegetation, trees, and new irrigation system.
